JJ Christensen
About Mrs. JJ Christensen
After receiving her teaching credentials, Mrs. Christensen was hired to be a math teacher at Oxford Academy. From there, she went on to teach in the social studies department and even spent a year in the business department. She spent 14 years, teaching 12 different preps in 3 different departments, including two different A.P. classes.
Fate and Destiny called Mrs. Christensen to open up another door at Western High School at the 2014-2015 school year. After a year with math students during the 2014-2015 school year, Mrs. Christensen is called to go back to her roots in the social studies department. Currently, she is fascinated with her 10th and 11th grade students in world and US history. Her favorite part of teaching is mentoring former students (seniors this year).

- World History (10th) (periods 1, 3,& 4)
She hopes to add Speech and Debate on her schedule soon!!!! (hint hint)

Fun facts about Mrs. Christensen
Mrs. Christensen is a die-hard Rockband 3 fan, loves karaoke, wishes she has enough money to buy more photography equipment, and has tried out for American Idol - twice. She is a skincare and makeup addict, and hopes to never have wrinkles like her mother.
She played Maria in West Side Story her senior year at Cypress HS, and was a loyal member of both the Mock Trial and Speech and Debate team back in high school. She has produced more dances than she can remember in college, and changed her major (officially) 5 times in college before deciding on "the one". She hopes to start her second career in therapy or law when she retires from public teaching, or sail the world with her beloved husband whom she has been married to since 2003.
Mrs. C hails from Taiwan, but considers herself American and is fiercely patriotic.She encourages everyone to read about what's happening around the world, but especially what is happening in your own community, to laugh everyday, and smile and say hello to strangers.
