Meet the Principal and Assistant Principals

Gary Brown

Gary Brown

 

 

 Mr. Brown has been with the Anaheim Union High School District since 1994.  He began his career as a science teacher at Brookhurst junior high.  In addition to teaching science, Mr. Brown also coached both at the high school and junior high school levels.  In 1998 Mr. Brown became a BTSA (Beginning Teacher Support and Assessment) support provider and worked as a mentor to new teachers in the district.  Mr. Brown has been recognized as Teacher of the Year and Who's Who Among America's Teachers. 


Mr. Brown began his administrative role as a TOSA (Teacher on Special Assignment) at Brookhurst before becoming the Assistant Principal at Sycamore junior high.   He spent a short time as an AP at Lexington junior high before being named Principal at Sycamore in 2015.   Starting the Fall of 2021, Mr. Brown will join the Saxon family as Principal.  Mr. Brown attended San Diego State University and received his Bachelor's degree and a teaching credential from Cal State University Dominguez Hills.  He received his Masters of Science in Education Administration from National University.  “I am truly looking forward to working with and serving the Loara Saxon community”.

Mrs. Sarah Anderson

Administrator for students with last names A-Gayton, but supports all of our students.

Hails from the great state of Wisconsin where she was Bucky Badger, the mascot while in college.  She began her career in AUHSD in 2004 as the choral director for Kennedy High School. She later became Activities Director, VAPA Dept. Chair and was Teacher of the Year twice before becoming a Teacher on Special Assignment with the administration team in 2017. In 2019, she became the assistant principal at Loara High School where she has been ever since overseeing Athletics, Activities, Graduation, and various other programs on campus.
Ms. Anderson attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for her bachelors degree, Cal State LA for her Masters in choral conducting and Cal State Fullerton for her Masters in Educational Leadership.
She is blessed to work with such an amazing staff and an even better group of students and families on the campus of Loara High School. Go Saxons!

Administrator for students with last names Perkins-Z, but supports all of our students.

 

 

Dr. Case is proud to have spent the past 21 years serving the AUHSD community as a math teacher and administrator. She is excited to be at Loara High School and continues building relationships with students, staff, and the community. She is looking forward to working with you and your students. Dr. Case received her bachelor's degree, master’s degree, and teaching credential from Cal State University Fullerton. She received her Doctorate in Education Administration from the University of Southern California. Please do not hesitate to come in or call to meet Dr. Case. Mr. Kyle Hendricksen

Mr. Kyle Hendricksen began his career with AUHSD in 2006 as a School Counselor at Dale Jr. High. In addition to being a school counselor, Mr. Hendricksen spent several years coaching sports on campus including soccer, basketball and football. Following 11 years at Dale, Mr. Hendricksen joined Anaheim High School as a counselor and began his administrator career there as a COSA (Counselor on Special Assignment). After three years at Anaheim, he was excited to begin his Assistant Principal career at Loara High School. Mr. Hendricksen attended UC Riverside, earning a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a bachelor's degree in Sociology. He graduated from the University of Redlands with a Masters degree in Education, School Counseling, while earning a Pupil Personnel Services credential. Mr. Hendricksen received his Administrative Credential from Cal State Fullerton.
