CLASSES & WORKSHOPS

·         All classes are FREE and can accommodate all ages and abilities.

·         Classes are open to all AUHSD employees and family members over 18.

·         Exercises will be modified to accommodate participants as requested.

·         Please bring water and a towel to class.

Yoga: Find calmness, peace and a good workout at one of our beginner yoga classes! Correct posture, control of breathing, and meditation are just some of the disciplines exercised during this class. Join this class to feel stronger, more centered, and balanced. Yoga mats will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Please bring your own mat if you have one.

 

Circuit Training: This class takes the participant through a series of cardio and strength training exercises targeting different muscle groups with minimal rest in between.

 

Resistance Band Stretch ‘n Tone: Get ready to tone your body using resistance bands! This fun class takes a different approach to increase your fitness by using one small band to work out your upper and lower body. Be ready to gain strength and get a good stretch with these band exercises!

 

Zumba: This class involves dance and aerobic movements performed to energetic music. The choreography incorporates hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue and mambo.

 

Strength and Conditioning: This conditioning based class incorporates strength training to work out your heart and muscles in one class. Alternating circuits of cardio with strength training will allow you to increase your fitness level using your time more efficiently.
